<p>Notching press is of the type in which a control system checks each processing stage, e.g. to determine the position of blanks at each station, and stops the next stage if interference is registered, but is not so difficult to start and operate, if for example, blanks are not present in each stage i.e. on starting-up the plant, has a control system which is linked to a sliding register; on receiving the starting impulse for the plant each individual control mechanism by-passes its registering phase and this bridging-over is cancelled stage-by-stage in conjunction with conveyance of the blanks.</p> |
