The device has a number of scrapers 4 mounted parallel with the truss axle in two-row staggering order. The scrapers are attached to the truss by means of flexible ties and rigid rods. The scrapers are provided with side pieces and skids on the back. In operation, the truss moves and the ties and rods pull the scrapers to rake manure into radial pit receptacle 11. Each scraper gages the ground individually. In the reverse stroke of the truss the scrapers turn their working edge upward and run idle on their skids.
