摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To prevent a main beam direction and an unwanted wave suppressing direction from being restricted. CONSTITUTION: Planar arrays having different antenna opening lengths on respective lines of antenna elements 11-MN are formed, and element output signals are bisectedly opening and analogously added for each line by analog beam forming circuits 21-2M so that twoΣbeams can be formed. Next, twoΣbeams are respectively frequency-converted and converted into digital signals by signal processing parts 31, 32, 41 and 42, digital beam formation is performed by main beam forming circuits 51 and 52 while using the output signals of respective signal processing parts, and the sum and difference beams are formed from the output signals of two signal processing parts by a hybrid adder circuit. Then, adaptation processing is performed by an adaptive beam forming circuit 70 concerning main beam components acquired by the main beam forming circuits based on the signal of selection control channel obtd. through the combination of at least parts of hybrid input/output signals, and unwanted signal components contained in the respective components are suppressed.</p>
