PURPOSE: To electrically correct tilt deviation by controlling the quantity of the tilt deviation, corrected by a correcting means, by a control means on the basis of a determined scan start correction quantity for tilt deviation correction. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a determining means (system controller 21) which determines the scan start correction quantity for tilt deviation correction on the basis of the tilt deviation quantity derived by a deriving means (registration controller 20 of controller part 51), and the control means (system controller 21) which controls the tilt deviation quantity corrected by the correcting means on the basis of the scan start correction quantity for tilt deviation correction determined by the controller 21. If the controller 21 determines the scan start correction quantity for tilt deviation correction on the basis of the tilt deviation quantity derived by the controller 20, the controller 21 controls the tilt deviation quantity corrected by the video controller on the basis of the determined scan start correction quantity for tilt deviation correction to electrically correct the tilt deviation. |
