PURPOSE: To improve connection reliability between circuit boards, and realize highly reliable mounting by providing an alignment plate on the fitting face side of a pin connector, and supporting by spring bodies wound on pin terminals. CONSTITUTION: At a fitting time an alignment plate 3 is pushed down toward a grip portion side by a socket, and at a detaching time the same is returned to an original position by spring bodies 4. Thereby, the falling down of pins in the case of fitting to a circuit board or by any action is retained by the alignment plate 3 so that the falling down is restricted. Therefore, such deficiency as the connector collides with a socket so as to buckle when the connecter is fitted into the socket is reduced so as to attain excellent contact. Since the socket is covered with the alignment plate 3 when the socket is not fitted, the contact positions are always shielded from the outside world so that causes deteriorating contact reliability such as dust and dirt can be rejected. |
