PURPOSE: To provide a cooling structure for a light source device capable of cutting off the radiation heat of a rolled body with a cutoff member and capable of cooling a light source section with a cooling fluid flowing on the surface of a transmission member by cutting off the radiation heat of the rolled body with the cutoff member between the rolled body and the light source section, and feeding the cooling fluid on the surface of the transmission member transmitting the light projected from the light source section to cool the light source section. CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating plate 13 is arranged between a rolled body 1 and a light source section 7 to cut off the radiation heat radiated from the rolled body 1 to the light source section 7, and a protruded shape section 15 is provided to prevent the grease or sludge scattered from the rolled body 1 to the heat insulating plate 13 from being stuck to a glass plate 17.
