PURPOSE: To provide a waveguide type optical device which allows no change in optical characteristics such as center wavelengths of component waves and is excellent in mechanical characteristics such as resistances to vibration, impact, etc. CONSTITUTION: In a waveguide type optical device which is formed by combining optical fibers 2, 4 to a waveguide type optical circuit substrate 7, it is featured that the rear of the substrate 7 is adhered and fixed to the case body 9 by an adhesive whose modulus after hardening is less than 30kgf/mm<2> . |
