PURPOSE: To provide a heat-developable diazo copying material high in color development performance and good in storage stability of a raw stock and sensitive enough to light emitted from a low-capacity light source and superior in abrasion resistance and also in manufacture aptitude by enclosing only a coupler in microcapsules. CONSTITUTION: The heat-developable diazo copying material is obtained by forming a photosensitive layer containing a diazo compound, the coupler, an alkali-soluble resin, and a sensitizer on a support and only the coupler is encapsulated by disolving at least one of the compounds represented by formulae I and II in an oil, and in formulae I and II, X is an H or Br atom; Y is a Br atom or a benzyl group; and Z is a 8-20C saturated fatty acid. The compound of formula I is embodied by γ-resorcylic acid derivatives, 3-benzyl-γ-resorcylic acid, 3-benzyl-5-bromo-7-resorcylic acid, and the like, and the compound of formula II is embodied by 2-hydroxy-3-naphthoic acid octylamide or its acid laurylamide and the like. |
