REPRODUCING DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR IMAGE AND VOICE INORMATION AND FUNCTION BLOCK USED FOR THE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To eliminate the AC power source circuit of a function block in a system for reproducing and displaying images and voices by interposing various function blocks between a reproducer such as CD player and a TV unit. CONSTITUTION: A CD player 10 has a power source circuit with an AC input and reproduces a CD to output a control signal Vcc along with a voice signal S and an image signal V. A compound cable 20 is used to transmit the signals to function units. The function units herein used are a 'karaoke' adaptor 50, a camera adaptor 70, a personal computer adaptor 80 and the like and the function units are connected to a TV unit 30 by the compound cable 20. The 'karaoke' adaptor 50 boosts up the control signal Vcc as DC voltage being sent from the CD player 10 to make a power source while mixing a voice signal reproduced by the CD player 10 with an input of a microphone to transmit. When receiving the control signal, the TV unit 30 makes a shift to a 'karaoke' mode.
