PURPOSE: To improve the processing speed by forming images of an original where a color and a monochromatic image are in existence in mixture uniquely respectively and applying sorting processing to the formed images. CONSTITUTION: When a read section 120 scans preliminaryly an original from an original supply section 150 and judges the original to be a color original, an image forming section 132 forms an image in color and stores the image to a storage section 136. When the read section 120 judges the original to be a black/white original through the preliminary scanning, a control section 114 writes black/white data to a prescribed address of a mixed mode table 123 set to a mixed mode, a 1st printer 100 makes read processing and an image forming means 232 conducts image forming processing, the result is discharged by a paper discharge section 234 and loaded to an external paper supply section 138. Furthermore, a color image paper sheet is discharged from the storage section 136 to the paper discharge section 134. Then the recording paper with the formed image is rearranged in the color mode information to obtain a copy of the mixed original at a low cost and at a high speed surely. |
