<p>PURPOSE: To provide a toner by which excellent toner image transfer efficiency is provided, a remaining toner after a transfer is reduced, and no toner fusion to a latent image carrying body or to a toner carrying body is generated. CONSTITUTION: In a toner provided with toner grain, in which a coloring agent is dispersed in a binding resin, and inorganic fine powder, a toner shape factor SF-1 measured by means of an image analysis device is 110<SF-1<=180, a value of SF-2 is 110<SF-2<=140, a ratio B/A of a value B found by subtracting 100 from the value of SF-2 and a value A found by subtracting 100 from the value of SF-1 is 1.0 or less, a relationship between a toner specific surface area Sb (m<2> /cm<3> ) measured by a BET method and a specific surface area St (m<2> /cm<3> ) found from a weight average diameter on the assumption that the toner is a right sphere satisfies such conditions as 3.0<=Sb/St<=7.0 and Sb>=St×1.5+1.5, while in the binding resin, molecular weight indicates one peak in an area of 3×10<3> -3×10<4> and another peak or a shoulder in an area of 1×10<5> -3×10<6> while an acid value is 5-30gKOH/g.
