Automated distributor for telecommunications system

The automated distributor comprises at least one circuit board (1) that has equally spaced conductor tracks (2) on both sides, so that the tracks on one side are perpendicular to the tracks on the other side. Holes (3) are formed in the board at each intersection. Incoming leads (17) are connected to the tracks on one side of the board, and outgoing leads (17) are connected to the tracks on the other side of the board. Bistable switches (10) are connected to the intersections of the conductor tracks, via which the respective conductor tracks on both sides of the circuit board may be connected. The switches can be actuated by a device (9) which is movable in both coordinate directions over the circuit board. Each incoming line can be connected to each outgoing line by controlling the actuator via remote control.
