A method and device for generating a disordered geometrical figure to be rearranged into an ordered geometrical figure. The device consists of convex and concave elements (11, 21, 121, 122) made from overlapping circular sectors, said convex and concave elements being combined to form circular surface portions which when combined reconstitute overlapping circular surfaces (1, 2), and the number and shape of the elements being selected from a group of two elements (11, 12) or from a group of three elements (16, 17, 18) of which one is square (17) with convex sides, in order to reconstitute at least two circular surfaces that overlap as far as their respective centres. The elements are individually decorated so that predefined patterns can be reconstituted on the basis of a predetermined order of elements. |
