PURPOSE:To pick up a desired acoustic signal even in noisy environment by applying signal processing to an output of a sub microphone group arranged in an imaginary border face and that of a main microphone within the border face so as to make the device immune to external noise entirely. CONSTITUTION:An imaginary border face is considered in a space, and the output of plural sub microphones 200 arranged thereon and the output of a main microphone 100 placed to one point in the border face are subjected to proper signal processing respectively thereby providing a performance entirely immune to the noise coming from the outside of the border face. That is, the spatial selectivity is obtained. The spatial selectivity herein is referred to as a property sensing with only a sound generated from a sound source in said space area but immune to the sound radiated from a sound source at the outside of the area. Thus, a desired acoustic signal is picked up even in noisy environment with a large S/N while keeping the linearity. |
