PURPOSE: To obtain a Zn-Ni alloy plated steel sheet less in welding defect, excellent in appearance and excellent in weldability in the as-welded condition by controlling the coating weight of the Zn-Ni alloy plated layer provided on the steel sheet corresponding to the thickness of the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: The Zn-Ni alloy plated layer is provided on the surface of the steel sheet. In such a case, the plated layer is formed so as to satisfy M<=25t and M>=5 when the coating weight per one surface is defined as M (g/m<2> ) and the thickness of the steel sheet is defined as (t)(mm). As a result, a welded part free from the generation of blowhole or the like and excellent in the appearance of the welded part is obtained if being laser-welded as it is without passing a special process. |
