<p>PURPOSE: To precisely detect an abnormal temperature rising place with high accuracy even on a conveyor whose device is simple and which excents over a long distance by respectively adding plural optical fiber sensor parts at intervals in the width direction under a return roller to send a return side belt part of the conveyor. CONSTITUTION: Optical fiber sensor parts 11A, 11D, 11G and 11B, 11E, 11H are mutually added at intervals in the width direction in two stages above and below a return roller 8. Optical fiber sensor members 11G, 11F and 11I are also added just above a space part 12 of a belt conveyor 3. A high output pulse from a laser beam source of a measuring part is made incident on the optical fiber sensor parts 11A to I, and generates the scattered light. A control part finds a temperature of places to which the optical fiber sensor parts 11A to I are added from its return light. In this way, an abnormal temperature rising place can be precisely detected with high accuracy even on the conveyor whose device is simple and which extends over a long distance.</p> |
