<p>PURPOSE: To decide the connecting condition of a coupling in which self-seal valves are provided to a socket and a spigot respectively easily, and to prevent the leakage of the oil and the like in the pipings when the coupling is connected and disconnected, as well as to prevent a poor connection of the coupling owing to a vibration. CONSTITUTION: A positioning ring 16 is provided at a specific position of the male screw 12 of a socket 1. And when a quick disconnect nut 13 is abutted to the positioning ring 16, self-seal valves 8 and 9 are opened perfectly. And a locking nut 17 is provided at the inner side of the positioning ring 16, and the quick disconnect nut 13 and the locking nut 17 are made in a double-nut structure. Furthermore, an O-ring 19 is provided to a specific position in the inner hollow of the socket 1. And when the self-seal valves 8 and 9 are abutted each other, and begin to open, a clearance of the connecting surfaces of the socket 1 and a spigot 2 is sealed by the O-ring 19.</p> |
