PURPOSE: To open and close a door easily by providing an energizing device which gives force in the closed direction to the door, an object detection device which detects distance up to an object or one of advance directions and outputs signals, an auxiliary drive device, and a control circuit. CONSTITUTION: An energizing device 2 gives force in the closed direction to a door. An object detection device 6 detects the existence of an object, distance up to the object, and at least one of advance directions of the object and outputs signals. Next, a door condition detection device 31 detects opening or closing direction of the door, opening or closing position, and one of opening or closing speed and outputs signals. Then, an auxiliary drive device 8 gives auxiliary force in the direction in which force in the closed direction which is given to the door is reduced. Then, the auxiliary drive device 8 is controlled in a control circuit 7b in accordance with signals outputted by the object detection device 6 and the door condition detection device 31. Consequently, it is possible for a child and a person of advanced age to open the door lightly and mount a door checker to a weak wall such as simple partition. |
