PURPOSE: To provide an environment purifying material using a more improved photocatalyst and its composition for decomposing pollutants such as a toxic gas, various bacteria, inorganic materials and the like and cleaning them and keeping decomposition performance by using stored light even in a dark place. CONSTITUTION: This environment purifying material composition and its granular material are composed of optical reactive semiconductors, a carrier and a light storing pigment. In the environment purifying material, a photocatalyst composed of a component composed of the optical reactive semiconductors, the carrier and the light storing pigment applied on a base or introduced therein is used, and also optical reactive semiconductors and the light storing pigment are applied on an activated carbon fiber sheet or introduced therein. |
