<p>PURPOSE: To provide a bent rubber hose fitted with a protector wherein the protector is fixed to the outer periphery of a bent rubber hose at a predetermined position simply, easily and accurately. CONSTITUTION: An unvulcanized elastomer or a heat-shrinkable protector 2a is fitted to the outer periphery of a straight tubular unvulcanized rubber hose 1 and the positioned protector 2a is fixed to the unvulcanized rubber hose 1 by a heat-resistant adhesive 3 at least at one place and, thereafter, the unvulcanized rubber hose 1 is fitted to a bent mandrel 4 and the protector 2a is fixed to the outer periphery of the unvulcanized rubber hose 1 at a predetermined position simultaneously with the vulcanizing molding of the hose 1.</p> |
