<p>PURPOSE: To make a contribution to the maintenance and improvement of raising environment of aquatic living things, the purification of rivers, lakes and pounds, the treatment of industrial waste water and night soil, consisting essentially of org. matter, etc., by efficiently supplying dissolved oxygen. CONSTITUTION: The dissolution of gas in water is affected mainly by conditions, such as temp., pressure, contact area, contact time and concn. of solute. Air is forcibly fed at a high speed or water is forcibly fed to an air feed port 12 of a pipe 9 incorporating a connecting screw 11 of an aeration device disposed in the water to be treated and the screw 11 is rotated and simultaneously water is sucked in the former and air is sucked in the latter. In either method, the fine air bubbles are generated in the device and water contg. the air bubbles arriving at the built-in part 1 of rotary vanes 3, 4 existing coaxially with the screw 11 is stirred by rotary vanes 3, 4. The included air bubbles are further finely segmented and the contact area with the water is enlarged.</p> |
