The valve slide is constructed as a tube divided into separate sections with axial through tracks in the tube wall, preferably evenly distributed around the whole slide. The valve axial tracks for the flowing medium and the sealing surfaces of the seals are then positioned at right-angles to one another and a floating function is achieved. - The valve slide (1) is a straight circular cylinder. Around two radial sections of the valve slide surface are a number of axial tracks (2, 3). Inside the valve are two hollow chambers separated by an intermediate wall and on the slide outer limiting surfaces are closed by end walls (4). The axial tracks (2, 3) are so deep that they go through the remaining walls in the valve slide and are open to the inner hollow chamber. The flowing medium passes inwards through the tracks on one side of the slide and out through the tracks on the opposite side. |
