The fixing piece of two ends of a tie (2a,2b) comprises a straight tongue (1) associated with one of the ends (2a). The tongue has toothed profile (4) on part of its length on one of its longitudinal edges. Associated with the second end (2b), there is a hollowed out plate which is traversed along its whole length with a straight line channel (6,7) along one of its faces which is designed to receive the tongue. A primary lateral surface (6) of the channel has a toothed profile the same as that of the toothed edge of the tongue, and its width is roughly the same as that of the tongue (1). The whole item being operated on in a manner to allow the reciprocal engagement of the tongue into the channel. An enclosing clip (9) is used to lock the two parts (1,2) together.
