PURPOSE: To shorten the processing time of image data by inhibiting the transfer of those parts where the images are not formed between an image data supply source and an image forming device. CONSTITUTION: The coordinates of the blanks where the graphic forms such as○,▵, etc., are not drawn in Fig. (B) show the non-print parts. The print data are successively moved to the non-print parts, so that the print image information shown in Fig. (B) can have a memory constitution that is shown in Fig. (C). A printer has an actual memory only at an upper part 103 and has no substantial memory in a non-print part 104 shown in Fig. (C). Therefore, the print data which are sent to the printer from a host has such a constitution as shown in Fig. (D) and it is not required to send the part 104 to the printer from the host as the print data. Thus a print image can be formed only by the print mode of the printer and the data on the printable part 103.
