<p>PURPOSE: To provide a semiconductor light-reception/transmission device for finding range which can accurately amplify reflection light from a target while maintaining the miniaturization and simplification of a device configuration. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor light emitting element 3 for emitting light toward a target whose range is to be found, a waveguide 5 for emitting light for guiding the emission light of the semiconductor light emitting element 3, a waveguide 6 for reflection light for guiding the reflection light reflected by the target whose range is to be found, and a semiconductor light reception element 4 for receiving the emission light of the waveguide 6 for reflection light are provided. The waveguide 6 for reflection light is formed by a semiconductor light amplification medium which can be excited by an exciting means and amplifies reflection light.</p> |
