PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly interpolate a lacked or wrong pixel and to reproduce an image approximated to a real image by interpolating the video processed by a digital zoom in terms of curve by means of the curve expression of not less than two dimension. SOLUTION: The curve expression of not less than two dimensions is obtained by using the position of a pixel which is not processed in at least two and over digital zooms and a pixel value corresponding to the position. The pixel corresponding to the position of the pixel, which is to be interpolated, is decided based on the obtained curve expression and two stages are sequentially executed. The video interpolation circuit of a digital zoom processor is provided with a coefficient value generation member 100 generating the coefficient values (a), (b) and (c) of the secondary curve expression by the value of the pixel processed by the digital zoom and a pixel deciding part 200 deciding the pixel value of an interpolation point (m) after operating the respective coefficient values (a), (b) and (c) outputted from the coefficient value generation part 100. |
