PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain print output of high quality by using a digital copying machine and a laser printer. CONSTITUTION: This printing control device controls the laser printer 22 so as output a print when print output is requested from a work station 26 or the like during the use of the digital copying machine 21 and controls the machine 21 so as to output a print when print output is requested during the non-use of the machine 21. When copying or facsimile transmission/reception is requested during the output of a print from the machine 21, the printing operation of the machine 21 is aborted, the printer 22 is allowed to output a print to enable the machine 21 to execute copying operation or the like. Namely the high speed print outputting function of the copying machine 21 is utilized at its maximum while prefrentially utilizing a copying function and a facsimile function included only in the machine 21. |
