PURPOSE: To eliminate noise in a control signal and a speech voice in a blink state of a display light in a slave set of a cordless telephone set. CONSTITUTION: When the user operates a speech key of a key matrix 17 to set the mode to a speech state, a slave set control section 18 allows a radio equipment 11 to send a slave set reply command based on a speech designation from the key matrix 17 and controls an LED driver 16 to goes off an LED 15. Then the speech key of the key matrix 17 is again operated to terminate the speech in the speech state of the slave set, then the slave set control section 18 discriminates whether or not priority all setting is made in the slave set and when the priority call setting is discriminated, the LED driver 16 is controlled to blink the LED 15. When no priority calling setting is discriminated, the LED driver 16 is controlled to keep the extinguished state of the LED 15.
