<p>PURPOSE: To obtain radar equipment which can improve the ratio of the level of transmitting signals to that of a side band by adjusting the gate width of a gate signal which turns on/off the transmission from an exciter. CONSTITUTION: A transmission monitor antenna 18 is installed near an antenna and the level of the side band of transmitting signals is detected by means of a band-pass filter 19 and level detector 20 at periodical or arbitrary transmitting signal monitoring timing set by means of a radar controller 8. A gate signal controller 21 and gate signal generator 9 automatically adjust the width of a gate signal which turns on/off the transmission from an exciter 4 so as to improve the ratio of the level of the transmitting signals to that of the side band.</p> |
