PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a base body tube in a solid electrolyte type electrochemical cell such as a solid electrolyte type fuel cell and a solid electrolyte type high temperature steam electrolytic device. CONSTITUTION: After 3-5 parts by weight of methylcellulose, 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of stearic acid emulsion, 8-12 parts by weight of water, and 3-8 parts by weight of glycerin are added to 100 parts by weight of CaO stabilized ZrO2 material, mixing is carried out so as to turn them into clay. A base body tube for a solid electrolyte type electrochemical cell is produced by extrusion molding, drying, and burning the clay. |
