PURPOSE: To efficiently process documents by verifying a processing result and skipping a specific number of following processing phases for document data after processing when the processing result meets specific conditions. CONSTITUTION: The document data which are received by FAX 20 and recognized at a recognition part 22 are stored in a file 25 while having its processing status set to 'wait for input'. When a processing terminal 40 specifies 'wait for input', the document data in the 'wait for input' state are extracted in the recognition order and sent to the terminal 40, which performs correction processing. When the data are not corrected, the status is set to 'wait for approval' by skipping 'wait for confirmation', but when the data are corrected, the status is set to 'wait for confirmation'. In input processing, the amount of money is collated with the set amount of money and the status is set to 'wait for approval' by skipping 'wait for confirmation' when the amount of money is less than the set amount of money and no correction is made. In approval processing, an operator requests 'wait for confirmation' unless there is 'wait for approval', and performs confirmation processing. If a miss is found, the status is put back to 'wait for input' and re-input processing is performed. |
