PURPOSE: To suppress the change of balance of a motor rotating at high speed at practical temperature so as to reduce the noise of the body caused by motor vibration, by constituting the adhesive used for the rotor, at Young's modulus in specified range. CONSTITUTION: A rotor magnet assembly 5 is composed of a rotor flange 6 doubling as a yoke, and a rotor magnet 7, and a hollow shaft 1 where a polygon mirror 2, a mirror presser 3, the rotor magnet assembly 5, etc., are attached, constitutes the rotor of a dynamic pneumatic bearing type polygon scanner. A yoke 6 is bonded so that the inside periphery 6a and the outside periphery 1b of the rotary shaft 1 may engage with each other. Though the magnet 7 is bonded, engaging with the inside periphery 6a of the yoke 6 at its outside periphery 7b, the adhesive used for the rotor 8 is constituted as to have Young's modulus of 500MPa or over at 90 deg.C. As a result, the noise of the body caused by the motor vibration can be reduced by suppressing the change of balance of the motor rotating at high speed at practical temperature. |
