Modular ceramic cooking hob

The hob has a variable arrangement of cooking fields, provided by pre- fabricated modular burner units (1), of varying size, positioned beneath a ceramic glass hob surface. Pref. the burner units each have a sheet metal housing incorporating an igniter and a flame monitoring safety system, packed with a microporous heat insulation material, with the exhaust gas from each burner led to a common exhaust gas device (10), similarly fitted beneath the hob surface.
