When a vector image is drawn on a cell window, a screen is displayed which allows a user to set parameters to define an action or the like which is to be executed in association with the selection of this vector image. In accordance with what is shown on the screen, the user sets parameters for, for example, opening a new file and displaying the image of a predetermined file. When the user double-clicks this vector image with a mouse or the like later, a new cell window is opened and the associated image is displayed there. An execution program has a function to perform only a basic operation, such as opening or closing a window, and can simultanously run in parallel by the multitask function of an OS (Operating System).
