FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: feeding comb unit of comber includes a pair of feeding cylinders installed before feeding comb in direction of feed of combed fibrous lap and intermittently driven and winding device after feeding comb in form, for instance, of detaching cylinders. For increase of smoothness, removal of impurities and faults and provision of efficient feed, the feeding comb unit consists of many respective parts furnished with needles, needle strips with cutout saw teeth driven intermittently in synchronism with comb play. Comb parts with their external ends moved over closed guides so that needles passing one part of their path, respective parts with cutout saw teeth are engaged with fibrous lap and from the other side, needles, respective parts with cutout saw teeth after completion of feed motion, come upward from fibrous lap.
