The method makes possible drying dishes by hot or cool air so as to improve energy efficiency. The method comprises the steps of driving a heater to a set temperature(T3), switching off the heater if the temperature is over the set one(T3), extracting heated wet air by driving a blower if the temperature is over another set temperature(T4), stopping the blower if the temperature is under the temperature(T4), and drying dishes if the hot drying method is selected; extracting wet air by driving the blower if the temperature is over T4 by a heat remaining in the cleaning and rinsing process, stopping the blower, and drying naturally dishes if the cool drying method is selected.
