The fixing piece for a bracket (17) onto the flat surface (4) of a grating (1) consists of a cylindrical piece (10) which comes in contact with the inclined side surfaces (7,9) of neighbouring bars (2-1,2-2,3) separated by gaps (5,8). The whole is clamped up by a fixing bolt (15) and nut (16). The bracket (17) can be used for the support of partitions or barriers (19).
