The lavatory cistern is separated into two tanks (5,6) each of 4 litres capacity which can be emptied separately or together. There is a single control (7) independent of the cover (2) for releasing the water from the cisterns. A water inlet is provided on the right side with floats (10,11) each mounted on a rod (8,9) in the left of each cistern . A water release (12,13) for each cistern is connected by a nylon thread (14,15) to the control eyelets. The control consists of a spindle (21) on which are three horizontal eyelets (20). These eyelets are on either side the vertical spindle of the right hand cistern (6) water release and horizontally to the right of the release vertical spindle of the other cistern (5). A control button (22) on the front of the cover is activated towards the left to release water from the right hand cistern and activated to the right to release water from both cisterns.
