SPRING HINGE FOR SPECTACLES

A spring hinge is proposed for spectacles provided with a middle part and two spectacle bows connected thereto so as to pivot. The proposed hinge comprises a spring housing (3) allocated to the spectacle bow and a middle hinge section (31) which co-operates with the spring housing (3) and to which the middle part (35) can be attached. The spring hinge (1) is characterised by the fact that the spring housing (3) is produced by the powder injection-moulding (PIM) process.
