Enamel powder - for aluminium, based on silicates contg 1-15% wt tin dioxide

Easily melting enamel powder for ignition temps. below 600 degrees C is based on silicates and contains 1-15% wt. SnO2. The initial mixt. for the enamel pref. consists of 27.3 pts. wt. SiO2, 4.9 pts. wt. Li2CO3 32.5 pts. wt. Na2CO3, 13-2 pts. wt. K2CO3, 21.0 pts. wt. TIO2, 1.5 pt. wt. Al2O3, 6.1 pts. wt. NaH2PO4 10.0 pts.Wt. pyroboron, 5.0 pts. wt. SnO2 and 3.3 pts.wt. NaNO3. The enamel also contains a pigment pref. spinel blue, CdS or CdSe.
