Container closing device for small fill levels

Container (1) closing device has a seal (3) for an outlet opening (2) in the base of the container supported on a support (4). Also has an actuator (5) coupled with the support, with which the support may be moved between a closed position, sealing the opening, and an open position. The support stretches out from the seal essentially transverse to the outlet opening across the container, and the actuator lies beside the container. Pref., the seal (3) has a truncated conical outer surface (14) converging into the outlet opening (2). The movement from the closed to open position directed by the actuator to the support contains a swinging movement transverse to the outlet opening and a vertical lifting movement.
