Electromechanical switch with two contact pairs

The electromechanical switch has two stages each of which have a movable contacts at the ends of leaf spring carriers (3,4). The carriers are retained in fixed blocks (11,12) at opposite ends of the housing. The carriers have a form such that they are supported by locating in V grooves on the blocks. Actuation is made by a rocker (2) that can be displaced about a centre pin (13). Pins at the ends (16,17) move against the angled surfaces of slide elements (5,6) to displace one of the contact carriers.
