Illuminated sign or indicating element

The figure shows a rectangular body, with two sides made of the optically conducting material (1). On the front side there is fitted an illuminating source (2), a fluorescent or halogen lamp, and, opposite it, a reflecting surface (3). It is possible to use L.E.D.s., and then the element can be applied in electrical and electronic equipment, cameras, copying machines and fax machines for indicating purposes. A number of possible variants are given, in each case, the displays can be in colour.
