A plastic, thermo-formed container, partic. for food prods., with an opening (12) able to be closed by a lid or cover and a wall (18) formed from a single piece with an element (20) in the base that has associated weak point fracturable lines (26) formed by edges in the wall that are able to be cracked or ruptured by the action of a user to form an entrance for air into the container so allowing the removal of the contents through the opening by inversion and the action of gravity. Also claimed is the thermoforming tooling for forming the breakable element.
