Binary sensor with circuit contg. signal receiver

The binary circuit (20) comprises a state indicating signal receiver and a binary signal generator, with the signal indicating its position above or below a threshold value. To the binary circuit is coupled a logic circuit communicating with a first external circuit. To the two circuits is coupled an adaptive interface board with a bus network interface circuit. On insulating into the binary sensor, the interface board activates the logic and the bus network interface circuits. The binary sensor communicates with the first and other network buses without use of the first external circuit.
