Pesticidal compsns. contg. as active component a cpd. of formula : (where R is 1-4C organic gp.; Z is O or S; and X,X1 are halogen, pref. Cl, Br) stabilised by 0.1-10% of a cpd. of formula : where R is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy(C1-C4), OH or an amino gp.; R1 is H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy or alkylthio(C1-C4), OH, SH, amino, pyrrolidino, piperidino, morpholino; R2 is H, halogen, OH or alkyl(C1-C4). The compsns. are insecticidals and anthelmintic, pref. contg. dichlorvos as active component. Additional stabilisers such as epoxides, metallic salts of fatty or amino acids, azo cpds., phenols, pyridine carboxylic acid esters, styrenes or anthraquinones may be used, together with co-evaporants, plasticisers, and polymeric, wax or absorbent carriers.
