PURPOSE: To obtain a vinyl chloride-based resin film readily bondable to a substrate having a three-dimensional curved surface in vacuum molding, having no film shrinkage in the vacuum molding thus obtained and imparting a molding with excellent scratching resistance and wear resistance and to provide a method for vacuum molding used for the film. CONSTITUTION: This vinyl chloride-based resin film for vacuum molding comprises 100 pts.wt. of a polyvinyl chloride, 0-35 pts.wt. of a plasticizer and 0.5-30 pts.wt. of glass short fibers having 6-12μm particle diameters and 0.2-1.0mm average length and has >=45 deg.C Clash-Berg softening temperature. In a vacuum molding method for sticking the vinyl chloride-based resin film through an adhesive to a substrate having a three-dimensional curved surface, a vinyl chloride-based resin film containing glass short fibers is used. |
