<p>PURPOSE: To enable it to properly output both automatic and request voices by installing a judging means judging of whether any guide information is requested from a driving car or not. CONSTITUTION: A route guide part 1-2 judges of whether one's own car comes nearer to a guide point preset to a position on a car lane or not. Accordingly, timing for automatic voice output at the specified distance short of an intersection on a guide route is thus judged. A phrase stored in a voice buffer 4-1 on the basis of this judged result is outputted in such a voice as converted by a decoder 4-2. When a driver requests a route guide by an input part 7, a request sensor 7-1 (judging means) judges that it is requested by the driver's own will, emitting such a signal as instructing an, operational part 1 to do a navigation procedure. In brief, if there is a request, a guide voice is emitted. Therefore, even during guidance through an automatic voice output, it is suspended and it is selected to the newly requested guide.</p> |
