FOOD AND MEDICINAL GRANULE CONTAINING LACTOFERRIN AND THEIR PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a stable medicinal granule, containing lactoferrin and nonreducing saccharides as an excipient and producible without deteriorating physiological function of the lactoferrin. CONSTITUTION: This granule contains lactoferrin and nonreducing saccharides (preferably sorbitol, mannitol, palatinit, etc.). The granule is obtained by adding and mixing water and/or ethanol with respectively finely powdered lactoferrin and nonreducing saccharides and then drying the resultant mixture. The respective fine powders of the lactoferrin and nonreducing saccharides preferably have 500-50μm particle size. A method for spraying the water and/ethanol thereon while making the raw materials flow in a fluidized bed is preferred as the method for adding the water and/or ethanol thereto.
