PURPOSE: To minimize the influence of a deficient voltage on a load side by reducing the generation of the deficient voltage and supply stable electric power to the load side. CONSTITUTION: The power saving device 1 is equipped with an autotransformer TR1 which steps down a source voltage, an electromagnetic contactor MC1 which switches taps of the autotransformer TR1, a control circuit 2 which performs tap switching control over the electromagnetic contactor MC1, a voltage detecting circuit 3 which detects a load voltage, a current detecting circuit 4 which detects a load current, a voltage setting circuit 5 which sets the lowest voltage, and a storage circuit 6. |
